We were tired of carrying around stacks of paper cards, only to watch them get buried in wallets or thrown away. And whenever we changed jobs or phone numbers, every card we'd ever handed out became instantly wrong.
So we combined two technologies — 3D printing and NFC — into something that had never been done before: a fully customizable, updateable business card.
The first prototype was printed in a garage in Bavaria. It worked on the first try.
